  • Dig post holes: Use a post hole digger or auger to dig holes for the fence posts. Holes should be at least 1/3 the height of the post plus 6 inches for gravel.
  • Add gravel: Pour 6 inches of gravel into the bottom of each hole for drainage.
  • Set posts: Place the posts in the holes and ensure they are level and plumb. Pour concrete around each post and allow it to set according to the manufacturer’s instructions (typically 24-48 hours).

3.Installing the Fence Panels or Boards:

  • Attach panels: If using pre-made panels, attach them to the posts using nails or screws.
  • Attach boards: If building a custom fence, attach horizontal rails between the posts first, then attach the vertical boards to the rails.

4.Finishing Touches:

  • Install gate: Attach gate hardware and install the gate according to your design.
  • Check alignment: Ensure the fence is straight and level.
  • Apply stain or paint: For added protection and aesthetics, apply a stain or paint to the fence.
